Located at an impressive altitude of 1,800 meters in Kirinyaga County, Murage Estate spans 10 hectares of nutrient-rich red volcanic soil. This lot features a blend of the esteemed SL-28 varietal—a Bourbon derivative celebrated for its sophisticated depth—and Ruiru 11. The farm benefits from a diverse canopy of Gravellea and Macadamia shade trees, which helps nurture the dense, high-quality beans.

Utilizing a traditional washed and double-soak process, the estate produces a coffee that embodies the classic Kenyan profile, characterized by a round, smooth body and a clean, tart finish. The flavor profile is complex and bold, offering notes of blackcurrant, lime citrus, and black tea tannins, with unique hints of chewing tobacco and a dry finish.
